PARIS FASHION WEEK 2013

Marc Jacobs' final show for LOUIS VUITTON was a celebration of his 16-year tenure at the brand.  It was in black and included pieces from past shows including a carousel, escalators, lift, fountain and a large clock.  The clock wound back when the show ended.  

Marc Jacobs dedicated the show to all the woman who inspired him and "the showgirl in every one of them", including Jane Birkin, Katie Grande, Coco Chanel and Kate Moss.

BEAUTY

The 122-piece Beauty Collection will be launching this August.  The line will include a unisex range of beauty products.  The packaging is inspired by a shiny table Marc has at his home.  The product names are inspired by his tattoos and favorite films.  The Beauty Collection will range from $24-59 and will be available at Sephora and MARC JACOBS Boutiques.

Stéphane Sednaoui photographs the Ad Campaign/Collaboration of MARC JACOB X DIET COKE.  Ginta Lapina and Marc Jacobs star in the campaign.  Marc Jacob has been unveiled as Creative Director exclusively for 2013.  Diet Coke is the world's #1 selling diet soft drink.

FALL/WINTER 2013/2014

PARIS FASHION WEEK 2013

Marc Jacobs created the experience of being at LOUIS VUITTON.  The collection was shown at the Cour Carrée of the Musée du Louvre.  50 doors opened which revealed models in satin and lace slips wrapped around decadent furs.  Marc Jacobs shows that you can just wear LOUIS VUITTON pieces day and night.

Marc Jacobs presented a Collection that included four escalators, paired models against a checkerboard catwalk.  The garments were in shades of black, white, blue, green, grey and yellow.
