PARIS FASHION WEEK 2013

Olivier Rousteing brought a sexy edge to BALMAIN's S/S 2014 Collection.  The Collection consisted of bomber jackets, denim, and quilted fabrics.  The fabrics were sheer and light with embellishments.

Olivier Rousteing brought a feminine yet sporty aproach to BALMAIN's RESORT 2014 COLLECTION.  "I wanted something lighter, and took inspiration from ballerinas, the tutus, the tulle and lace, but mixed with something sporty," he said.

PARIS FASHION WEEK 2013

Olivier Rousteing's Fall/Winter 2013 Collection for BALMAIN was inspired by the escapist end of the 70's.  He said backstage at the ornate Hôtel de Ville, " I understand it was a time of dreaming and going against a bad economy but I wanted to imagine the seventies in the future—in 3070!"

Rousteing created a modern futuristic silhouette with a 70's vibe.  The collection was full of jewel tones and a metallics.

Olivier Rousteing was inspired by legendary editor Diana Vreeland for BALMAIN's latest collection.  BALMAIN's trademark, sexy hemlines and boxy masculine tailored jackets are made modern.

BALMAIN's Designer Olivier Rousteing doesn't disappoint with this Spring/Summer 2013 Collection.  The pieces are embellished with so much detail.  The Collection is sexy, elegant and edgy all at the same time with a 80's vibe.
