PARIS FASHION WEEK 2013

Alexander Wang presented the S/S 2014 BALENCIAGA Collection at the Observatoire de Paris.  The collection was feminine with a twist of sporty streetwear.

RESORT 2014

Alexander Wang showcases his first resort collection for BALENCIAGA.  The collection consisted of black, white and gray with graphic prints.  The pieces were tailored, modern and inspired by origami art with folds and curves.

FALL/WINTER 2013/2014

PARIS FASHION WEEK 2013

Alexander Wang debuted his first-ever collection for BALENCIAGA F/W 13/14 at PARIS FASHION WEEK.  The collection was monochromatic in shades of black, white and gunmetal.  There was even a black/white print that looked like marble.  The collection was luxe and wearable.

Resort 2013 Lookbook

Alexander Wang's Resort Collection consist of a mixture of dark and light.  He uses black leather throughout the collection and uses silks and sheers in white (cream/beige) to create a contrast.

I know with your ipad, iphone or android phones there's really no need to carry paper and pen but this is so pretty.  You could write your thoughts down or draw pictures in it.  I really like that it's strong and masculine with the hardware and soft and feminine with the brass edged sheets.  It's so sleek it could be mistaken for a clutch.

Elizabeth Kott recently launched CLOSET RICH, a online atelier featuring vintage and pre-worn pieces from sought after designers including - Alexander Wang, Maison Martin Margiela, Helmut Lang, DVF,  Lanvin, Prada, Christian Louboutin (just to name a few).  

Elizabeth Kott was previously a digital consultant for Rachel Zoe.  Her muse is designer and style icon Kristen Reiter of BLEACH BLACK.

Here are a few of my Favorite Looks from Alexander Wang.  The First Jacket with the Fur and Leather Sleeves, Bad Ass! The Shoes and Thigh Highs, Yes!

The hair and makeup in these looks is very minimal I must say.  It's easy to do, a little foundation on your face and lips and throw your hair up.  I would recommend a little mascara and cheek stain to make you look a little awake.
