Swim






Designers showed their 2013 Collections from July 19-23rd in Miami Beach.  Mara Hoffman didn't disappoint with her vibrant collection.  Pamela Love's jewelry adorned the models.  I couldn't stop clicking and looking at the swimwear and jewels.  Wildfox had playful suits and beautiful models wearing them.

Fall 2012 Couture



Donatella Versace's showed her first runway presentation for the Atelier Versace Haute Couture Collection at the Ritz Paris covered swimming pool since Gianni's death in 1997.  Donatella has chosen to release the Couture Collection in a private manner.  The previous collections continued to receive seasonal updates of the house made-to-order enterprise by appointment only.  

 Donatella uses neutrals and vibrant pastels fabrics for her form fitting collection.  The detail of her Couture pieces are amazing.  The crystal, sheers and lace flow and hug the body in all the right places.  Oh yeah, let's not forget the shoes and belts.

'Persona' Lookbook


Designers Susien Chong and Nic Briand were inspired by three protagonists in Robert Altman's 70s film 3 Women, as well as the Palm Springs film setting. The 'Persona' collection consisted of Lover classics which includes lace dresses, pleated skirts and high collared blouses in crisp white.  This seasons collection introduces new colors in beautiful coral, mushroom, acid washed floral print and metallics.

Spring 2012 Lookbook
"The Silent Years"


Kym Ellery was inspired by the cults in the '70's (the Manson Family and the Jonestown Massacre) for this collection.  The interest was in the members and their blind faith in things that seemed crazy to the rest of the world. 

Ellery's collection consisted of skirts, peplums, dresses, tailored jackets and the must-have item, the bomber jacket.

Spell & the Gypsy Collective




Leggings



Sisters Elizabeth and Isabella channel their inner gypsy spirits creating all manner of adornments.  They are inspired by combining feathers, leather and turquoise.  Their collections are stylish and have a laid back feel to them.
