Cleobella Spring  2011 Gypsy Collection

Cleobella's newest collection was inspired by the Gypsy Life and the Nomadic Princess who lives it.  The collection consist of neutral leather to hints of red, fringe, a touch of turquoise and beautiful beading.  The collection is available in stores and online.

Guerlain

Guerlain Rouge Automatique

Guerlain's Rouge Automatique Long-Lasting Lipstick is based off packaging from a 1936 Art Deco-Style.  It's a modern multi-tasker with a one-handed slide mechanism to reveal a unique color system that  is shiny, long lasting (3hours) and has a "second skin effect"such as the rich pigments becomes liquid when it touches the lips.  Guerlain's Creative Director stated that it's similar between the Rouge G and Kiss Kiss Lipstick lines.  It will be available in 25 shades that range from beige to bright.  The lipsticks will be available in April at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Turquoise

Marie Claire US April 2011

Turquoise seems to come and go but always looks good when styled right.  I like the mixture of the Pamela Love Large Tribal Cuff with the fringe suede jacket.  Turquoise looks beautiful with black, creams, nudes and best of all Lace.  Fashion Editor Nina Sterghiou did a beautiful job at picking the pieces while David Roemer captured Gorgeous shots.

NEON

I know it's Spring and the Bright Neon colors are in from Hot Pink to Neon Yellow and the other colors in between.  You can always wear Bright Pink or Orange on your lips to add a Splash of color.  I've mentioned it before but M.A.C. Morange, Neon Orange is a choice. Pink Nouveau is another choice for a Bright Pink option.

This is a local shop that carries really unique and reasonably priced jewelry.  I bought a Gorgeous Lauren Wolf  Silver Stingray Pendant  from the store a few months back.  It's one of my favorite pieces.  I layer it with my Pamela Love Small Tribal Spike Necklace.

ALDO for Julian Louie Spring/Summer 2011

This is Julian Louie's second collaboration with ALDO.  These open-toe wedged ankle boots, made from patchwork suede and contrasting tribal prints in cotton ikat are fun and playful.  They are available online in only 4 types with two styles in two separate colorways at $125 a pair.  You have to be FAST, they are going to sell out!

I've had my eyes on the Citizen of Humanity Angie Super Flare for a month now.  I haven't decided if I want to invest $228.  I've heard reviews where they fit smaller because they are high waisted.  I need to drop by Anthropologie to try them before I buy.

Margarita Saplala AW11 Video

Brooklyn Designer Margarita Saplala started drawing and painting throughout childhood.  She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts majoring in Fashion Design from the Art Institue in Chicago.  She worked as a freelance designer in New York and eventually launched her own line in 2006. She uses a mix of prints and colors that are fresh and playful.   Her collection is sold to select boutiques around the U.S. as well as Barney's Co-op, Tomorrowland in Japan, and Harvey Nicholas in Dubai.  The videos are a Behind the Scenes look for Margarita Saplala's Fall 2011 Collection.

I've been wanting to try out the Red Orange lip trend for S/S 2011.  I've always shied away from bright or dark lip colors because I feel that they make my lips to Big and Bright.  I kept seeing images of Models in this Spring shade and thought how pretty they looked in it.  I purchsed a few M.A.C. lipsticks and came up with the perfect combination.  I mix these colors to achieve the looks above, Morange/Vegas Volt with Redd lip liner.  Give it a try!

 Peter Philips, Creative Director of Chanel Makeup, debuted a new industrial metal-colored nail polish.

Graphite is the newest shade to look out for this July.  This shade of Silver/Chrome came down the Chanel Fall 2011 Ready to Wear Show on the models nails.  Here is a Breakdown of the shades used on the models.

J. Crew

J. Crew Spring 2011

I've always thought of J. Crew as a store that carried the basics.  The perfect t-shirt, LBD, skirt and slacks but this Season really caught my eyes.  The stylist did a Great job at mixing textures and patterns.

I really like the undone loose side ponytails and Orange lipstick.  You can try M.A.C. Morange Lipstick or Nars HeatWave for this look. Give it a try.

Blake Lively looks Stunning in CHANEL's  S/S 11' Ad campaign.  Her hair and makeup looks flawless  with her nails done in BLACK PEARL nail colour.  I have to get my hands on that one!
